Feb 1, 2012: Today is Groundhog Day! The scene at Gobblers Knob Wednesday, February 2, 2012, was rainy and cold, so no, Punxsutawney Phil did NOT see his shadow on Groundhog Day 2012. According to Groundhog.org, "The Prognosticator of Prognosticators, Punxsutawney Phil, once again appeared at sunrise at Gobbler's Knob in the Pennsylvania Wilds to make his annual prediction."

Jan 16, 2012: For the 2012 version of the race, we will use the new State trails below Riffleford Road as far as the Black Rock Mill. These trails are in excellent condition and will provide runners a real treat. Runners will also be running a longer course than in the past. The views and new trails are worth it.
